My name is Cathal Manning and I am a self-taught oil painter based in Dublin, Ireland. My paintings are created with oil, freely applied to a stretched canvas board and completed entirely with a palette knife.

My work captures scenes of Irish landscapes and the traditional Irish way of life.  I also enjoy painting portraits of various musicians, actors and other artists from both the past and present, as well as completing private commissions upon request.
